Newlands has 26 bedrooms, all on the ground floor, with en-suite facilities in many rooms. The home is divided into three smaller households, each with its own comfortable lounge, dining area, and kitchenette, creating a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own furniture, photographs and belongings to make their spaces their own.
At the heart of the home is Newlands' Hub. This community venue includes a café and sensory area, as well as a large screen for people to come together to watch films and sporting fixtures.
In the home there's also a wellbeing area for physical exercise and hot-tub spa bath in the conservatory.
Residents take part in the daily living routines of the house, such as shopping, cooking, gardening and a variety of leisure activities. We have lots of community connections and residents attend the local social club as well as going to nearby shops, restaurants and pubs.
Shared lounges provide space to socialise, participate in activities, or spend time with family and friends. Residents can also choose to:

Here are just a few of the faces that make up our team at Newlands.
No matter what their role is, every member of our team is a carer at heart and contributes to the day-to-day experience of our residents. We know we’re only as good as our last act of care, so we recruit team members who embody our values whilst also simply being themselves, bringing all of their different personalities, interests and passions to work to create a diverse team of carers.
