The home has two small households, also on the ground floor, each with a shared lounge, dining area, and kitchenette where residents can prepare drinks and snacks or join others for meals and to socialise.
To meet residents’ needs the home has been adapted to make moving around as easy as possible. Facilities such as computer access, ensure that residents can continue to do things they enjoy.

Jo grew up in a family where compassion and helping others were a way of life. This shaped her belief in the importance of making a difference, which led her to choose roles that help people thrive.
Since joining WCS Care in 2010, Jo has used her experience and values to support others as a carer, People Co-ordinator and now as Home Manager.

Rachel has been Wellbeing Co-ordinator at Mill Green since 2022, and before that worked in various frontline care roles at Drovers House.
Rachel enjoys being able to spend time with residents, getting to know them and their families, so she can plan activities and trips they will enjoy. She says she loves to make things happen for residents; whether that's organising a holiday to somewhere they have wanted to go, or an activity based on interests they have always enjoyed.

Here are just a few of the faces that make up our team at Mill Green.
No matter what their role is, every member of our team is a carer at heart and contributes to the day-to-day experience of our residents. We know we’re only as good as our last act of care, so we recruit team members who embody our values whilst also simply being themselves, bringing all of their different personalities, interests and passions to work to create a diverse team of carers.
