Welcome to Castle Brook, located on Common Lane in Kenilworth. The home combines support with care that helps residents live life as independently as possible.
At Fairfield, we provide:
We take the time to understand each resident and their loved ones, making sure care fits around the way they like to live.
Castle Brook has 88 furnished bedrooms in total which feature floor-to-ceiling windows, ensuite bathrooms, and TV and telephone connections.
The home is made up of several small households, each with an open-plan lounge, dining area, and domestic-style kitchen. Residents and family members can make their own snacks and drinks, or full meal. They can also get involved in the washing up and other housekeeping activities if they want to.
We've designed the households in one of three lifestyles based on town, country and classical living. Hobbies, interests and local information are represented in the hallway decorations. This is because we recognise that the space in-between places creates more opportunities for conversation and reminiscence..
For couples or close relatives who wish to stay together, there are spacious ground-floor double apartments with their own lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and private patio garden, and the home is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Daily life centres around the living areas where residents get together and socialise or spend time with their friends and family. Residents can choose to:
Castle Brook benefits from night-time acoustic monitoring, which allows staff to respond quickly if someone needs support during the night, but leaves those who are sleeping well to rest without being disturbed.

Kate has been part of the team at Castle Brook since the home opened in 2016. She worked in various roles before becoming General Manager.
Kate’s mission is to ensure there are no barriers to what residents can do, just because they are living in a ‘care home’. She also wants to support carers to make Castle Brook the very best it can be.

Rue has worked in the care sector since 2001 and joined Castle Brook in 2018, progressing her career from Deputy Care Co-ordinator to Care Manager to her current role as Deputy Home Manager.
Rue is passionate about care and feels that it’s not a job, it’s a calling. She understands the importance of discovering what matters most to each person so they can live their life the way they choose to, ensuring every voice is heard. She’s looking forward to continuing to support colleagues to feel confident, inspired, and proud of the difference they make every day.

Margaret joined the Concierge team at Castle Brook in 2023. She's one of the first people you're likely to speak to on the phone, or meet at the front desk when you arrive at the home.
Margaret has spent her life caring - even at school people knew they could turn to her if they needed support. This translated into her personal life, providing care to her parents and her daughter when she became ill, and her career working as a palliative care nurse for 35 years on and off.
Margaret understands, and is passionate about, the importance of giving residents the gift of time and plans on being part of the team at Castle Brook until she retires.

Here are just a few of the faces that make up our team at Castle Brook.
No matter what their role is, every member of our team is a carer at heart and contributes to the day-to-day experience of our residents. We know we’re only as good as our last act of care, so we recruit team members who embody our values whilst also simply being themselves, bringing all of their different personalities, interests and passions to work to create a diverse team of carers.
