Meet the Finance team

Margaret Costigan - Financial Controller

Margaret joined WCS Care in 1996 and produces the management accounts for the company. Margaret has a background in accountancy and has been instrumental in bringing our accounts information to life and making finance easy to understand for all of our managers. ​

Debra Linnecor - Payroll Manager

Debra maintains the payroll and issuing of contracts for all WCS Care team members. She has over 30 years' experience in payroll, almost 20 of them at National Express, where she was responsible for paying 7,500 employees.

After leaving in May 2014, she then worked for Volvo before joining WCS Care in September 2015.

Jean Edwards - Senior Finance Assistant

Jean has over 30 years of experience in a number of financial roles and joined WCS Care in January 2016. With experience in purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, accounting and providing management information, Jean is responsible for a number of financial processes from invoices to banking.

Meet the Support Services and Training teams

Jo Rose - Head of Support Services

Jo joined WCS Care in February 2005 as our Finance Assistant before moving into her current role, which sees her focusing on ensuring a consistent customer service focus across the organisation. 

Jo previously worked in financial services for 15 years and in the accounts department of an international company of consulting engineers. 

Mo Rose - Training Co-ordinator

Mo has previously worked in our Nuneaton homes in a relief care and training capacity, as well as with other providers specialising in dementia care. 

Her permanent role has been established to increase our capacity to provide training to our team members, as we grow and develop our services. 

Previously, Mo worked with Nuneaton Training Centre, and North Warwickshire and Hinckley College delivering health and social care training programmes to the care sector.

Pete Wilkes - Facilities Co-ordinator

Pete looks after WCS Care's building and maintenance programme as well as health and safety. 

Pete spent several years working in a family construction business before attending college and university to build his skills and understanding of property maintenance and refurbishment. 

Since graduating from Napier University in Edinburgh, he returned to the industry and worked in the education sector for over 12 years, as both an Estates Manager and Facilities Manager. 

Meet the Marketing team

Jo Cheshire - Head of Marketing

Jo joined WCS Care in 2016 to take a strategic lead on our marketing and communications. Jo is an experienced marketer with over 20 years' experience of working mainly in the not-for-profit sector, covering a range of disciplines from pure marketing to PR, fundraising and public policy work.

Stuart Goodwin - PR and Communications Manager

With a degree in journalism, Stuart spent several years as a Broadcast Journalist for a number of radio stations across England. In 2008, Stuart moved into PR and Communications including roles at a local authority, a national alcohol and drug recovery charity, and an energy supplier. 

Stuart joined WCS Care's management team in 2016, where he's putting his wide range of media skills into practice to help us raise our profile.
