Ed Russell - Director of Innovation and Development

Ed has over 25 years’ experience working in Health and Social Care in the not-for-profit sector. Joining WCS in 1992, he progressed from care worker to Home Manager before moving into management in 2005.

His proven background in compliance and quality inspections, and the successful management of regulated and non-regulated services at an operational and senior level, has brought him to his current role, leading on the design of new homes and the commissioning of technology and equipment to enhance the quality of life for residents living in WCS homes.

The rest of the time he can be found managing day-to-day operations, quality, compliance, sales, HR, workforce development, health and safety, and business development.
