Shirley Randle - Service Manager

After working for a pharmaceutical company and chemist dispensing medication, Shirley joined WCS Care at the age of 28 to start her career in social care at Drayton Court, where she first joined as a care assistant after being introduced to the role by her mum who was a carer at the home.

Quickly realising that she'd found her vocation in life, Shirley started on the road to achieving the necessary qualifications to progress her rewarding career. Over the years, she has covered roles including carer, night carer, senior carer, assistant manager and home manager before progressing to her current role as service manager.

Although there are many memorable moments in Shirley's career, her proudest so far is Drayton Court being recognised as 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission.
