As a not-for-profit organisation, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional value for money, giving people the peace of mind that they will receive the highest standards of care.
We run 9 specially built homes for older people and 2 for younger adults. Each home has been developed to offer a caring and friendly environment, where everyday household activities can continue to be enjoyed.
Your Accommodation . . . .
Making a decision about which care home is best for you or your loved one can be difficult - especially if you already have an image of what you think a home is like - but if you pay a visit to a WCS Care Group home we are confident that you will be pleasantly surprised. Accommodation has been designed into separate households. Each household has separate lounges and dining areas which incorporate kitchen facilities.
- All bedrooms are for single occupancy with many having en suite facilities to choose from. They are lockable and residents are provided with the key. Each room is centrally heated which can be controlled by means of a thermostatic control valve.
- Rooms are provided with bed and bed linen, bedside table, curtains or blinds, mirror, overhead and bedside lighting, chest of drawers, wardrobe, chair, wash hand basin, carpet, lockable storage space and electric sockets. If the resident wishes, a table and seating for two people will be provided.
- Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own belongings and are free to change furniture or furnishings and pictures if they wish. Items of furniture or equipment brought into the home are required to be checked to ensure that they are safe for use.
- Lighting, colour schemes, floor coverings, assistive technology, signage, garden design and safe access to the external environment have all been considered to make the home as accessible as possible.

We recognise that every one of our residents has their own individual needs which is why our staff are trained to the highest standards.
- Our specialist dementia services provide the support that our higher needs residents need in their every day lives and we work closely with family and friends to ensure that we're always providing the best possible standards of care. We also maintain strong links with local communities through the delivery of respite care and day care.
- Nutritious home cooked meals are served daily. Another popular feature are our beauty rooms complete with hairdressing facilities.
